Artificial intelligence is reshaping the world at an unprecedented pace. Over the next decade, global industrial structures, technological competition, education systems, career pathways and the way societies operate will undergo profound transformation. Many industries once considered stable are being redefined, while new opportunities and challenges are emerging rapidly.
The 2026 Global Youth Ambassador Action Programme for Sustainable Development Goals was launched in response to this changing global landscape, as a future-oriented initiative designed to support young people in developing global awareness, future perspectives and action-oriented thinking.

Through a project-based learning structure combining an intensive Bootcamp with the completion of a “Personal Action Issue Report”, the programme aims to help young people develop:

Programme Period: July–August 2026
Phase I | Opening Ceremony & Intensive Bootcamp
Phase II | Personal Action Issue Report Development
Phase III | Final Presentation & Closing Ceremony
Format: Fully online and accessible globally through remote participation.
Language: The China cohort supports both Chinese and English.
Recommended Age: Students aged 13–18.

The Global Youth Ambassador Action Programme for Sustainable Development Goals supports young people in broadening their international perspectives, strengthening core competencies and building a future-oriented growth pathway with global relevance and long-term value.
- Participants will explore the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, examine shared global challenges and future solutions, and develop broader international perspectives across multiple disciplines and sectors.
- Participants will receive an official certification issued by UNGLEP. Outstanding projects may also be developed into individual electronic report portfolios to support applications to leading universities worldwide, as well as broader academic and personal profile development.
- Selected project outcomes may be featured on official UNGLEP platforms, enriching participants’ social practice portfolios and providing valuable evidence of personal growth and global engagement.
- Participants may also gain access to sustainable youth talent development platforms and international career development ecosystems co-developed by UNGLEP and global multinational partners, supporting future international and cross-sector career pathways.
