On March 2, 2025, the 2025 International Artificial Intelligence Programming Elite Challenge (IAEPC) was successfully held at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The IAEPC competition created three firsts: first in scale, with more than 20,000 contestants from 117 countries and regions participating in the preliminaries, and finally 28 young technology elites from 12 countries and regions competed in Hong Kong; first in influence, for the first time, it attracted global AI young elites, global AI technology masters, experts, and scholars to gather in Hong Kong to discuss the development of AI technology and advocate "technology for good"; first in social value, for the first time, it emphasized that AI is the "fifth paradigm revolution", and it is necessary to pay attention not only to the application of AI in various industries, but also to the relationship between AI and humans.

1. Goodness: AI technology must be based on moral ethics, avoid algorithmic bias and technology abuse, and ensure that technology development is always "for good".
2. Global Betterment: AI should focus on global challenges such as climate change and medical equity, such as optimizing disaster prediction models or personalized medical solutions to help the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
3. Generational Mission: The younger generation needs to deeply integrate technology research and development with humanistic care, and become the leader of the "fifth paradigm revolution" rather than a passive participant.

The IAEPC competition is jointly initiated by the Western Alumni Foundation and the International Artificial Intelligence and Data Industry Association, and hosted by Ivy International Education. It is a global event that aims to focus on the world's top AI talents and elites, explore the application of AI in various industries through a series of innovations, challenges and cooperation, and promote the development and implementation of AI technology.
The Western Alumni Foundation is one of the organizers of this IAEPC competition. As a social organization with international attributes, the Western Alumni Foundation is committed to building an international stage for young people. Through the "Top Innovative Talents" special fund, it supports the holding of international science and innovation competitions, helps young students enter the world's top universities for further studies, and promotes the practical application of technological achievements in the fields of medicine, education, environmental protection, etc. through cross-border cooperation projects.
